Many Top Executives Withhold Financial Support in Trump vs. Biden Rematch The 2024 presidential election is seeing a notable lack of financial support from America’s top CEOs, with only two out of the 100 biggest companies’ leaders making disclosed donations to either major party candidate. This trend continues a decline in CEO engagement in presidential politics that began with Donald Trump’s entry into the political arena. While some business figures are backing Trump or Biden, the vast majority of top executives are keeping their distance financially. This marks a significant shift from previous elections, such as 2012, when CEO involvement was much higher. The total donations from these top executives to presidential candidates amount to only about $88,000, with most of that going to Trump’s now-defunct primary rivals. « Previous Article Next Article » Share This Article Choose Your Platform: Facebook Twitter Google Plus Linkedin Related Posts Dow Tumbles 760 Points as Market Reacts to Recession Worries READ MORE Gold Rush 2024: Experts Weigh In on Different Gold Strategies READ MORE Expect Continued High Interest Rates as Fed Seeks More Progress on Inflation READ MORE U.S. Economy Surges Past Gloomy Forecasts READ MORE Gold Hits Three-Week High as Cooling Inflation Fuels Fed Rate Cut Hopes READ MORE Add a Comment Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
