Recession Mentions in Earnings Calls Fall as Economic Outlook Improves Concerns about a recession among executives have significantly diminished. A FactSet analysis revealed that mentions of “recession” during S&P 500 earnings calls have dropped to their lowest level since late 2021. Only 29 companies mentioned the term recently, reflecting reduced anxiety compared to the past five and ten years. This decline in recession talk follows the easing of inflation fears that peaked in 2022. Despite earlier worries, the U.S. economy continues to perform well, adding 272,000 new jobs in May, surpassing expectations. « Previous Article Next Article » Share This Article Choose Your Platform: Facebook Twitter Google Plus Linkedin Related Posts G-20 Says World Economy Has Growing Chance of Soft Landing READ MORE China Pledges Response to Biden Administration’s Expanded Tariffs READ MORE Gold Investors Eye Friday's Payrolls Data for Fed Policy Clues READ MORE Why have all Chinese banks disappeared from the LBMA Gold Price auction?
