Gold Particles Found in Emissions from Antarctica’s Tallest Volcano In Antarctica, American geologists made an incredible find: an active volcano that’s expelling particles of gold. This phenomenon occurs as hot gases from the volcano carry gold from deep within the volcanic rock to the surface and even beyond, with particles found as far as 1,000km away. The volcano, standing at a height of 3,794 meters, continues to be active, periodically releasing these valuable particles into the atmosphere, as reported by New Scientist and IFL Science. « Previous Article Next Article » Share This Article Choose Your Platform: Facebook Twitter Google Plus Linkedin Related Posts Shenzhen: China's Rising Star in the Gold Jewelry World READ MORE CBO Raises 2024 US Budget Deficit Forecast by 27% to Nearly $2 Trillion READ MORE Economists Question the Recession-Predicting Power of the Inverted Yield Curve READ MORE Record Gold Prices Fuel Modern-Day Gold Rush READ MORE Election-Year Politics Add Volatility to Already Strained Bond Markets READ MORE Add a Comment Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
